Air conditioning.....

No A/C in our home, but we do have a nice air cooling fan that can be moved from room to room or we leave it in the hallway and it cools all of the rooms, it has that much power:)

We don't have air conditioning at all. Hardly any houses in England do. It just never got hot enough for long enough to warrant it. Some office buildings have it.
We have electric fans which are sometimes turned on in the summer.
Last year was the hottest year and they were in use for a good 6 weeks.

We don't have a air conditioner as the temperature here is quite normal and doesn't reach any extremes unlike western countries where it is very cold. A normal ceiling fan does the work for us. We have installed fans in every room of our house.

I live in Berlin now, and even though we get some very hot days, buying an A/C is not really something worth the money. While Saturday and Friday were rather hot, yestarday was cooler, and today is even more. So, it is not worth the expense.

yes, i do. i have set it at 22 degree celcius. ours is a very hot and humid climate in summers and moderately cold in winters. so, in summers we just have to have it on. more so, when all our offices are centrally air conditioned and once we back home the sultry weather kind of kills. i walk around in mormal slippers without socks.

Yes we do have it but in select places in the house only, my mom's room and the office where the computer is. Well filipinos are used to hot and humid climates already that's why we have a greater heat threshold than non tropic people. I can withstand a night without airconditioning its just I cant stand a place where the air doesnt circulate and its already hot to begin with. for instance the office of my mom downstair has poor ventilation so I start up the aircon when I feel the humidity and heat is already unbearable. I set it to 18 degree centigrade and its enough for three hours, after ten minutes of cooling I turn it off again and turn it back on after three hours. This is done to avoid nasty high electric bills that my mom complains about every month

I have a portable air-conditioning unit at home which we bought about 4 years ago. Summers in the UK have become very warm and humid especially at night. But because it only lasts for the most about 6 weeks, having air conditioning installed in the entire house would be too much money.

Our house faces south-east, meaning it gets morning sun at the front and evening sun at the back. This makes the house very prone to becoming warm and the heat can get trapped in it. Great in winter though:-)

Yes, i have an air condtioner in every room of my house i usually set the temperatue at 18 degrees.

Ni, well here it's not to hot to have air condidioning,but in hot contary's do have A/C. i like hot sun,because i like it.And it'sgood, and you stay active, but in a cold temperature you wana stay in all the time, anless you have a job out,

I made sure that the house I purchased came with central air because of the summer heat. I felt that central air was cheaper to run then window units. To keep energy costs down I like to keep my thermostat set at about 78 to 80. As long as it is cooler in the house then outside I feel that it is good enough. I also have fans around the house to help circulate the air.
