for the past days, the news has been covering the abduction of an italian priest in one of the provinces here in our country. no one has knew who abducted the priest until just recently. today, the headline goes - "Fr. Bossi sighted; millions in ransom demanded".
it's just unfortunate and sad to hear news like this.
by the way, here's a link to the full story -- http://www.philstar.com/index.php?Headlines&p=49&type=2&sec=24&aid=20070618165

Well here the head lines are always interesting, because it evolves very much about what is going to happen next in our life.
I can tell you that the main headlines are : the iran situation and how it implies on israel, the Syria situation and how it effects israel, the four missiles that were thrown at israel from Lebanon two days ago and the situation in Gaza.
I know that while trying to read this, i am calculating my chances, to finish the computers studies i took in my college.
The main question is: whether a war will start before i will finish my studies, or would i be able to finish them.

Tempers rise over flooding.. a problem going on in a community close by that has had homes built in an area prone to flooding.
Storms cause outages to 48,000... also a problem in the past few days in our community, along with power lines downed by the storms.
These are from the front page of our local paper.
