How can you handle a mother......

My mother had 6 stroke in Febuary, after a long time waiting she has finaly started tog et better, now she is at home with us but i can not get the picture in my mind the night it all happened how violent she had become in the bed to the point of tying her down, and verbaly abusive as well and i could see how much pain she was in the head ahces she remembers having the pain so bad she wanted to die, I amhappy to have her home but im so scared it will happen again how do you handle it how do you cope with this and how can you go on with your life and make sure hers is well lived as well? i m basicly alone here taking care of her best i can but even that .. is it enouhg? how can i tel her i love her and im sorry for all she is goign trough without it sounding like a pity call, because in her state even today all we say is not true to her, is there a way i can say it for her to see it is form my heart. Life is so strange yet so cruel as it takes all we know from under our feets. Is their life for her after that stroke and will she ever come back to me, like i remember her.
