Do u ever go to the farms and pick stuff yourself?

I think I've bred the world best berry pickers! We have a small strawberry patch in our backyard, and my girls can be found out there everyother day looking for the "Perfect" berry. The 2 year old thinks they are the green ones... fortuantely she eats those, so I don't have to take care of them. This last weekend we went out to my in-laws farm and harvested black raspberries. Again, the youngest ate more than she picked, but she was having a lot of fun. She was purple from head to toe by the time we were done. LOL! In a couple of weeks, we'll be able to shake the mulberries out of the trees, and the gooseberries should be ready. Guess I better stock up on canning supplies and start making jam & jelly! :)

Yaa, i remember very well , when i was young we use to go with mom and dad to our farm. we were having lots of grape vine there and vegetables too. i remember me picking up lots of veggies and then when we use to return back home, we use to distribute it to our neighbours too. i always enjoyed those days a lot. now i am married and i am very very far from them. you made me remember those days, those beautiful days , that precious time spend with my parents. i am missing them them sooooooooooo much. plus those moments when my mom and dad use to keep shouting from back and i use to run here and there in the big farm that we had.

No i have never go to the farms to pick something as there are not much farms in my country yea ... so never have the chance .

you are making my mouth water just mentioning strawberry short cake i wish that i lived in trhe country so i could plant my own garden insted of buying them from a farmers markets
