What is wrong with this guy? Once again he vetos stem cell research. Is he crazy or what. Doesn't anyone see how these stem cells could save and help thousands of people. I am for stem cell research and think that the USA with there funds could do some real good in the world instead this guy hinders progress. How does everyone else feel about stem cell research?

i read somewhere that George W Bush supports stem cell research but only to the extent that human embryos are not destroyed in order to harvest stem cells but it's okay to kill innocent people in Iraq and any other countries.hrmm..ok,i'm not making much sense but i'm PRO stem cell!count me in!

He is not against stem cell research. He is against embryonic stem cell research where you have to destroy the embryo to use the stem cell for research. I've read a little bit on stem cell research and reports say there has been no progress made towards a cure by embryonic stem cell research, whereas, research done on adult stem cells has proven to be quite promising.

I think it is a great idea and I can't think of a reason why Buch Vetos it. He's a moron about this. I bet if this could save himself or someone in his family, he wouldn't be so quick to veto this.
