have you watch the japanese version

The Japanese 'Ring' was okay, but it was poorly done in terms of cinematography, which I think weakens it. It just looked low-budget overall and wasn't as convincing. The American version did summarize all three movies, and I think that that was a good thing because it saved audiences from having to watch three movies, and it saved the producers some money, despite having to make it look a little cramped. It was executed nicely; it didn't reek of cost-cutting like most of these Asian horror movies. The effects were also better of course.
However, I do not find 'Ring' in any of its incarnations scary at all. There just aren't too many scary movies nowadays.

Yes, Ringu 1 and Ringu 2 were great, I loved them more than the American versions. I love Japanese horror, nothing can beat it, they come up with the wackiest ideas.:)

Totally! I love this movie, I've also watch The Ring 0 1 2, at first I was on a doubt to watch it, so I first tested it using my pc to watch, and my eyes are focus on it, so there were parts that scare me a lot, LOL but it was fun, this is one movie I can't forget, as for me, nothing beats japanese when it comes to suspence and horror, it's just the best, but among all the suspence/horrors, The Ring just got me head over heels! Oh YEAH!

yah ive seen the ring --- all of them... japanese version... japanese versions are a lot scarier than remakes. hollywood style --- not scary at all... but i still like them. im a horror fanatic.

The Japanese version of The Ring is a million times better than the American version. Even though you have to read the sub-titles, it's still loads scarier.

Japanese are great makers of horror films! The Japanese version of The Ring is scarier than the hollywood version. Same goes to The Grudge films.

Nothing beats a Japanese horror film, when it comes to scaring people!
