Do you think there can be a true friendship between a man and a woman?

I think so. There is can be a true friendship between them. For example, when two girls are good friends. But sometimes they will be jealous to each other. So the friendship can be spoiled.
A man and a woman's friendship is different. They have no reason to envy each other. Their advice is from the bottom of the heart. Therefore, they can help each other sincerely.

of course... why not. some people are meant only to be friends. i have a guy friend he is one of my best friends... we are friends since high school and still friends up till now.

we dont see each other that much but we still spend time chatting on the net and saying his and hellos.

Definitely, my best friend is a guy & we've been best friends since he was born (i am a year older) but our Mum's had us playing together from that age, then we went all through primary & high school together!
We don't see each other much these day but we do get together when we can & i miss him when it's been a LONG time between visits but we're always there for each other & we're just friends - nothing more!

I KNOW that is can. My best friend is a man and I am a woman. Our friendship are the best and it has never been more or less than friendship =)
I think it is easier to be friends with guys than girls, its not as much drama *haha*

A couple years ago I would have said 'yes' without question. I still think it's possible to have true friendship between a man and a woman, but it's difficult. Many times one of the two becomes attracted to the other and it causes problems. I have one male friend who I can be completely comfortable around, but several female friends. Also it's hard to explain a close male friend to a boyfriend or husband, so many times the friendship fades when you're in a relationship.
I think jealousy is a problem in any relationship, not just woman friendships.

Yes,i think so,and it happen on myself,i have so many boy friends and some of them r my honest good friend,we can share our happiness and sorrow together and have fun with each other.I am sure we can keep our friendship forever .

Yes..There can be.I have great friends who are gals.Infact out of my four best friends,three are gals and with one of them I have been mainataining true friendship for the past 8 years.She is like my sister and good friend to me.Its you and she who shoud realise that there is no more relations between both of us.If you start developing some feelings,just tell her/him about it and sort it out.
