An experiment in time management  

Sounds familiar, wearing too many hats. I wish you luck!

What I am having to do right now, to maintain my sanity, is realize that I am not superwoman, and to take some of the hats off is alright.

A daily planner? Well I guess if you feel you really need one. I work from the moment I wake up and till I go to bed, but I get every thing done. Perhaps you need to multi-task. That seems to solve the time management problem. I also have no idea what I'm doing 2 days from now. I just get up in the morning and say well yep this and that needs to be done today, so I had better get on it. And if you really want to be free, go for the residual income.

I think that this will work good for you. It will help you keep on track with the task at hand and help you from being distracted. And if you check them off as you complete the task, you will also get a sense of accomplishment too.

That sounds like a plan. I struggle with managing my time as well. I'd rather spend my time doing fun things like working in my garden. I hate doing house work.

Right now the only thing that is consistent is my part time job...and occassionally if I have a doctor or dentist, etc appointment. Every other moments I get when I'm not "working" on the computer or its not raining or wet outside I spend working in my garden.

Badpenny, just don't get too stressed out when something you didn't plan on interferes with your schedule. Some days you will have to go with the flow, so to speak. And here's another tip I just picked up at another forum ( you might already do this) under your bookmarks/favorites tab, add the days of the week, or a once a week folder, every other week, once a month, something along those lines, then put those sites under those categories that are applicable to the calender schedule you set up. This is something I need to do. I wish I had the motivation to do it LoL I have lost all current motivation as I am trying to wean myself off of anti-depressants and it is wearing me out. Plain and simple. But, I think that if it works for you, I might just try it for myself. I am awful at time management, too lol and I could use some help!

I as well find myself short of time, now days. I have tried to restrict myself to a schedual, but do not follow it very well.
I find that either I add way too many things to do, or I get sidetracked and finish the first few things on my list and then do five other things that were not.
The only advice I can give is, try hard and once you make a list, you will have one constantly.
