|  I've looked at various freelance web sites but I wonder what is the best on out there? I'm looking for some more in the web design department. I've done local freelance work around with people within my community.
I've seen some freelance web sites but what would you recommend and how exactly does the bidding process go. Are there any fees involved with the bidding?
For Web Design, what would be the best skills to have? Right now my skills range at HTML, XHTML, a little XML but not a lot, and some CSS. Those are the current skills I have at this present time.
If anyone can help on that based on experience or just general freelancers could give the best recommendations on the sites, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

| |  i don't know any english sites in which you can earn money by designing and programming, but i do know that in china, there are many websites that you can do freelance jobs, you can help people design and programm, someone even asks to give name to his new born son etc, you can earn usually a lot of money from that.

| | I would like to design web sites for people of any type of business. If it's a personal one, non-profit, or possibly a business.
The time frame I usually is a 50 hour plus job so that could take some days depending on what time I'm on working on it. I'm looking at any time frame that's 2 weeks and up if possible at the maximum and my minimum is 5 days.
My skills involve HTML, XHTML, a little XML for data purposes only, and CSS. These are my primary skills as I know how to code in those languages. I am currently studying up on PHP at this present time and have only basic down.
I have completed a few web sites and they are currently up and running. If you wish to see what I've done, I could pm them to you.

I can create a basic script though, are you looking to have possibly email ones because I know that for sure? I don't know MySQL so I wouldn't be able to help on that. | | | |

| | I think if you want to view it offline, you probably have to install PHP somehow. I'm not quite sure how to do that exactly. Most of the time I just put it on the internet through my webhost. That's about the only way I can possibly get it to work and see if it is installed properly.
I think you can upload it onto your web host to view it if that is what you are trying to do. | | | |
