Are People To Dependant On Technology Today?

All these new gadgets being made and all this new technology to make life easier for us but is it really a benefit? What would happen if we lost all power could you survive? Think about it. Through the years 20 years ago fathers take their kids fishing, hunting and camping and teaches them how to live off the land but now a days with all the new technology people dont really bother with activities like that. Say all the worlds resources dried up or something big happened do you think you could live off the land like the pioneers did? I think I could but many would die because they never bothered to learn the little things. Whats your thoughts?
