I just moved into a new place, with beautiful hardwood floors. Of course though, as often happens there is already a scratch in them!
What is the best way for me to "hide" this scratch or treat it in some way...and going forward what is the best way for me to clean and care for these nice new floors. They are so pretty, I would like to keep them as nice as I can for as long as I can ;-)

oh i love hardwood floors too! I would suggest a rug, since sandpaper or stuff like that would destroy the floor.
cleaning with a good vacumn cleaner would be great. or a soft mop. But don't let the floor stay wet for too long, cos it'd destroy the wood. Also use mild chemicals that won't chemically disintegrate the wood.
And if you're looking for some shine, of course wood polish would be super!
