Don't Earl's cheeks look puffy on that one picture?

It seems like Jason Lee's cheeks look a little bit puffy on that one picture for My Name Is Earl. Also, his face sort of looks shorter. Did they resize the picture or did he forget to take out the cotton after he had novacane? Not that I mean to take anything away from Jason Lee, I like My Name Is Earl, at least the episodes that are kind of like Quantum Leap where you feel good inside after watching it, as opposed to the episodes where he hands around sleazy strip joints and I feel like hurting myself or my couch. Not that I particularly care for the couch anyway. The texture's not too great and it's hard to get comfortable.
