Why do some people say Elvis is Alive?

They are the same crackpot few who flock to the face of the Madonna on a piece of toast, or a statue that weeps. They have a few pegs loose, and really want the impossible to be true

LOL. It's kind of funny isn't it? In 1996 I lived in Hawaii. There is a white house that's all alone on the side of a hill, with nothing but vegetation all around it. People who live in Hawaii claim that that is where Elvis lives now; that that's where he's been for a long time.

I don't remember when he was born, but I know he died in 1977 & was what, in his 40's or 50's? That would make him like 80 years old now. Don't get me wrong, age is just a number, but at 80? He would hardly look like he did when he was young. Working in Nursing Homes I have found that when most people get to that age they look nothing like what they did in their earlier years.

Also, if he were still alive, his mobility would be in question. I doubt he'd be able to get around that much. & yes, again I know that there are many 80 year old who are very mobile, very active, etc. But he did have weight & drug problems, so that most likely would have contributed to him being laid up a bit, if not his early demise.

I think people idolised him a great deal and when he died it was all changed, he was portrayed as an overweight divorcee who was far too controlling of his wife and relied on drugs.
I think it would be unlikely that someone would fake their own death as one where they die on the toilet in front of their little girl.
What a tragic end.
People would rather believe he is still around,happy and free from the media.

He was a God like figure to some people and they just can't seem to let go! Also it could be because there are a lot of Elvis look alikes in the world.
