Hi all, I am studying a course in politics at post grad level. Assignments and essays need to be done as part of the course, my question to all you students and people with secrets on motivation out there is, how do you motivate yourself to do the work when you are not in the classroom and lecture hall?
I am a mother to one boy just over a year old. Before I had him and I studied, I was able to get stuff done, I wasn't very organised but because I had so much free time (and I didn't even know it!) I managed. Now I have hardly any free time and when I do, I just want to vegetate, but I know I need to get things done.
So how do you motivate yourself??

Believe me, you will probably never get much studying done with your child around. lol Maybe ask someone to watch him for a couple of hours a week or an hour a day. Maybe your husband or other relative could help you out. Then go to a place in your house where you're going to be comfortable but not to comfortable. You don't want to fall asleep studying. lol I've done that many times when I was in college. Make sure you have everything you need beforehand so you don't have to waste that short time you have on getting up and going back and forth getting stuff. Just concentrate everything on studying. Maybe if you are studying for a test or something, make notecards so throughout the day when you have time, you can look at them. Good luck!! You seem to have your hands full.
