Have You Ever Ridden In A Limosine?

Okay, so the first time that I rode in a limosine, it was one of the worse days of my life, I was traveling to the church at 10 years old for my mother's funeral. As soon as my older sister's hit the seat, she was crying. There wasn't any fun in that ride.
The next 500 or more times was a blast, then it became a drag again, but never as bad as the first time. My ex-boyfriend was a limosine driver and his boss let him keep the car when he was not working and at one point, it was the only car that we had.
At first it was fun getting all the attention and taking all our family and friends for rides, but there were times when we did not want that attention, but it never stopped. Because we were in the limo, people always assumed that we were filthy rich. I never pretended to be, because I was never that kind of person, but I think that my boyfriend had fun with it when I wasn't around.
Anyway, every where we went, people were begging for money. Sometimes we didn't have a dime in ours pockets and that is when it really got on our nerves. We had to go grocery shopping, the laundromat, to the movies, everywhere we went we had that big ole showy car and people begged for money. We never got any privacy. And everywhere we went they assumed we somehow owned the place we were entering.
At one time when I was working at the Los Angeles Airport, he would take me to work every morning and people got so jealous and I'd be thinking, how could they be jealous, if I were that rich, I wouldn't be working here. But people will be who they are. I miss the car some time, but not often. How was your ride?

3 weeks ago, I took a ride on the greyhound bus to Sacramento. well, it just so happened I was further away than I thought, and my sis in law had to goto work, so she called her father, who was also one of my mutual friends. come to find out, he worked for a limo company, and picked me up at the greyhound bus station. Needless to say, there were a few dropped jaws trying to figure out who I was, and why I was taking the bus if I was getting a limo ride! And, it was a good thing I got a ride, since I miscalculated the distance by 15 miles. It would have been a long walk.

I have never ridden in a limo before and I always wonder what the fuss is all about. It is just a very long car that may be more spacious inside than a normal car. I have ridden in some really cool cars like honda and mercedes benz that are really cool and very comfortable. I have noticed this days they make limos out of everything including hummers and stuff. May be it is worth it to try one of this days just to know what it actually feels to ride a limo.

It is a blast the first few times. The Lincoln Town car limos, rides like a dream. It is so smooth that the bumps in the road rock you to sleep. It's like riding on a cloud.
You know that you are in a very showy car, so the first few times, it does go to your head a little. And you may feel like you are on top of the world. It's hard to describe, but try it, you will surely be impressed.

Well, some people a car tells something about the passenger. People must have gotten the impression that you are well-off. There are some who would gladly welcome the idea but at least you are true to yourself that you don't like that much attention. It's really irritating when people continue to ask you for money just because they saw you come out of a limo. I hope that you are able to get over it.

I've only rode in a limo once in my whole life. Which was only a year and a half ago from one of my best friends weddings that I was in. I thought it was a neat experience, but the ride wasn't that long, so I didn't get a true test of it I don't think. I'd like to be able to do it agian sometime in my life.

I realy liked this story. I have ridden in a limo a few times for special occasions. Would I want to be taxied around in a limo if I could afford it? Not likely. As you have demonstrated, it is all about perception and has little to do with reality. I find it interesting that so many would beg of you to provide money. That is the lack-consciousness at work when people want something for nothing.
When I become rich, I will not want to flaunt my riches or show them off. Besides, the real riches are inside a person and need not be shown off for others to berate. That is interesting about the LA Airport job and so many being jealous. People's assumptions are crazily based on TV, I think. Where else would they get the idea that because you were riding in a limo that you must be rich or famous? Some people are ridiculas and have little sense of self. But I bet there were many times when it was outrageously funny to be rolling around in the limo and pretending even though that wasn't your intention.

It was very silly, because after I got sick of the attention, I started riding in the front with my boyfriend. I have never seen a rich and famous people riding in the front.
I mean it was fun and exciting, but I have never gotten pleasure in pretending to be something that I was not. I have had to do it for survival, but that is another topic all together. I feel like when a person pretends to be something that they are not, at the end of the day, all they feel is empty.

I have been in a limo three times and had a blast all three times. I do not drink much but the thought of going down the road and drinking while in a moving car makes it all the more fun.
