Do you let your kids watch Dora the Explorer?

I haven't seen this episode but my child watches Dora and Deigo and I like them. She has learned a lot of Spanish from dora and she is always telling me something new that she has learned from watching it. I would have a problem if she called someone fat!

I dont think i have ever seen this episode and they are playing alot of reruns these days. I dont like the idea of that episode if you did hear right. That is terrible, i am overweight and i really dont want my children refering to me as a whale. But all the ones that i have seen there hasnt ever been anything like that in them. There is a show that they did called go Diego go maybe you seen that one and Dora was on it with him because his show is the one where they rescue all the animals. I havent really tunned into that show.

It probably is trying to discourage children from getting fat. In a way it can be good because it will develop health-consciousness among kids. I've seen it a number of times but I have not seen this whale part.

Oh, my grand daughter loves this Dora the explorer show very much. It is being shown here almost every day.I even made a recording of some of the episodes but I haven't encountered that particular episode you're telling us. If that was part of the show, i really would feel disgraced though it was done uninentionally. the producers of the show,i think are sensitive enough to issues like thise. it's a kid show and they have to protect the interest of the children in general. but in totality the show is educational and lively.
