Teenage Bedroom

When you were a teenager, how did you have your bedroom decorated? My room had white walls, so I made up for it with posters and made a border with CD jackets. I had blacklights and those glow in the dark stars everywhere. My desk was pretty cool. I painted it black and wrapped hot pink tulle around it and had my Yoda collection on it and my elephant stuff. I also had a zebra print rug that I loved. It was actually pretty tacky, but it was my domain.:)

Ha, ha, ha, I was going to say that it sounded pretty busy to be nice, but then you said tacky and I don't like to argue. You think that was bad, I had Michael Jackson plastered on my wall from floor to ceiling. That seems like a lifetime ago and I never thought I would look back on it and see it as silly, but it was. I was a crazed fan, just like a lot of other people of my era. I had the buttons the t-shirts, the music, the works. I was in love with me some Michael Jackson. Thank God, it was just a phase. A long one, none the least, but a phase indeed.

I thought my room was the best thing ever too.:) I still like to have things colorful...guess I won't grow out of it. At least I'm a little more controlled now. New Kids on the Block was my thing when I was younger. I had the buttons, t-shirts, and even the fanny pack.

Actually, I am the same way. I like a lot of colors. I have a lot of Bric-a-brac and pictures and things in my apartment. There is nothing bland about my life. So why should I live in a bland home.

My room was a gross pepto bismol pink, rugs the same color. White ceiling...but they were slanted with it being an attic and all. The room was plastered with posters. Like...floor to ceiling covered in posters. I had a bed and a tv and a hope chest and not much else. When I was 17 we moved and I pretty much did the same...plastered the walls with posters. I still have all those posters even though they aren't on the walls anymore. My entertainment center was decorated with a plethora of things, my pig collection and toys and stuff. It wasn't anything cool but people used to dig all the posters for some reason.

My carpet was the same pepto pink. Uggg. I hated it. My ceiling was white too, but there wasn't much I could do about that. I had a really small tv too. It pissed me off when I moved out becasue my little sister had a bigger tv than me.:)

I think a lot of girls had pepto pink rugs. I remember my bro and I shared a room until we were old enough to have our own rooms..and I got the pink room cause it made sense, since I was a girl and the room we shared was blue. I guess we never thought about paint. My room had the closet and my bro's didn't...he used to get mad about that and insist it made my room bigger than his.

Mine was pretty plain. White walls with blue borders so I placed posters here and there. But my room was a sight already because of the numerous toys, books and CDs scattered everywhere.

There you go. That's all that you need. Your toys, CDs, and books.:) Sounds like mine except for the colors.
