Many people are complaining about their heavy workload and consider they should earn much more for their hard work. What do you think about your work and payment?

I think that the type of work that I do is ok and sometimes I think the pay could be better but when I speak with my counterparts in the private sector and hear they pay then I have to tell God thanks and work harder. I love my job and yes I could do with a better salary but to me it is better than not having somewhere to receive a monthly salary which by the way is finished before I get it.

I think you hit the nail on the head over here. I think most of us work very hard and the money we get from our jobs sometimes does not seem to be proportionate for the hours that we put in at the office. However, there is a nice silver linning to this - one gets a guarenteed salary at the end of the month.
For me, I learnt this the hard way when I started working free lance. The money to work ratio seemed alot better, however, the moment work went through a dry season, things became quite uncomfortable.
I've managed to learn to live with the lean times but I know alot of people who cannot. So I guess when you look at the work-pay ratio in the things you should do, you should also look at the frequency of pay.

I want to complain about my work and payment, I work for 8 hrs and get paid little, I am left with 20 bucks after paying bills and fees. I really need another high paying job.

My payment use to be proportional to my workload. But my workload has increase and my payment has remained the same. So it's time for some decision making. It may be time for me to find more conpensation or less work.
