Reconfigure or reset your linksys devices  

Hello there paruparo. I understand your problem and I will help you on this. Now for some reason your setup page is distorted because of a lot of reasons so to fix this what were gonna do is upgrade the firmware of the router. I will be giving you the instructions so feel free to do it so you can fix the problem. I will post every step so you will understand well.

Before downloading the firmware, make sure that you have an active internet on the modem. To check unplug the router and connect your computer directly to the modem and check if can get online. If you can get online then follow step 2, if not then call your internet service provider.

2nd thing you have to do is find out about your linksys device model and version. Once you have that, open a browser and type in on the address bar www.linksys.com/download.

Now when your in the website, you will see a box that is labeled "Enter Model Number". Type in there your routers model and click "GO". Then you will see device version number there and underneath you will see a drop down box. Click on the drop down box and choose your routers version.

After click on your device version, you will be directed to a page where you can see firmware. Click on firmware and you will see a popup window asking you if you want to save the file. Click on save and there would be another popup window askin you were to save the file. Make sure to save it in your desktop so it's gonna be easy for you to locate.

Once you have the file you can unplug the cable from the modem where you get the internet and plug it back to your port number 1 on the router. Plug the other cable from the internet port of the router going to the modem.

After you have that setup, on your computer open an internet explorer browser and on the address bar type in there 192.168.1.1 Once you click on enter you will see a popup asking you for a username and password. Leave username blank and on password type in there "admin", all in small letters.

After doing that you will be directed to your routers setup page. Click on Administration tab and underneath the administration tab you will see firmware upgrade. Click on that as well and then you will in a page that says upgrade firmware, you will also see a bar and on the right side of it you will se a "browse" button.

After clicking on the browse button you will see a popup windowasking you to look for the file we just downloaded and saved on your desktop. Look for the file and click on the file once you see it then click on open button. You will be directed back to the firmware upgrade page of your router.

Now that your back on that page you must click on "upgrade". While the computer is upgrading your routers firmware please do not interrupt the computer or the router. Leave it until it says "upgrading is successfull, rebooting". After upgrading you will be back on the firmware upgrade of your router. With that your problem is solved. Good Luck.

Well im sorry to say this paruparo but I think you have a busted router. You may want to reset the router three times and check if you can revive the router, if not then you have to buy a new router.
