Sammy Davis Junior, was a hugely successful singer, actor and entertainer during the 1940s and 1950s.He had a beautiful voice and could sing anything that came to him with ease and finesse.Sammy did'nt have to use "black American sound" to pull in the fans like they do today. Accents are natural if you are from a particular country.Sammy was just himself.Another thing Sammy was excellent at was impersonations.I heard him do perfect impersonations of Mario Lanza,Jerry Lewis,Frank Sinatra, and Frankie Laine.Sammy was that rare breed of entertainer, whom one would have to scour the earth to find.

Sammy was also a fine actor. He was excellent in the original version of Oceans Eleven.
