I have had trouble sleeping alot.Either I can't get to sleep till real late,like two oclock in the morning or I go to sleep about ten thirty and then wake up about one or two in the morning and can't get back to sleep till it is almost time to get up.I used to try and drink sleepytime tea and it helped.Now it only does sometimes.How long do you sleep?What helps you get to sleep and stay that way all night?

i normally sleep for eight hours, if i donot have enough sleep i will get head achae, i normally read novel r book to get sleep,if u drink coffee or tea u willnot get sleep.u can have hot milk before sleeping . u will get sound sleep.

I wish,I could sleep eight hours.I do not have too much trouble getting to sleep,it's stating asleep.I don't like milk.

It is almost midnight here and Iam online,watching Jay Leno and drinking sleepytime tea and hopefully it will get me to sleep.It has worked thepast two nights.So wish me luck.

I usually dont have any problem sleeping, but there are some times that I cant. I think that if you have trouble sleeping, do something active during the day. Like go run or work out. This should tire you out and make your body want to rest. If you think running or working out is boring, you can always join a flag football team or a softball league. Just try to do something and make your body tired, you'll sleep better, and eventually start to feel better.

Thanks for the great suggestions.Iam partially handicapped,meaning there are some things cannot do.And if I can usually not for any length of time.I will try going back to taking a walk after dinner.Iam very busy during the day,but not as physically busy as I was a while ago.Maybe I should try something more physical during the day to tire me out as well.

I'm trying to get about 8 hours of sleep, between 22:00 and 06:00, but there's usually something that breaks my schedule. Yes, as for your sleeping disorder, the best would be to drink some tea one hour before going to sleep. It always works for me, as 22:00 hasn't been a sleeping hour for me most of my life.

I do trink tea before bed.But,it does not seem to work as good as it used to.I get to sleep,but I wake up around 1:00 and have a hard time getting back to sleep.Iam not military is 22:00 10:00 PM ?

Yes, 22:00 is 10 pm ;). The fact is, that between 22:00 and 00:00 (which is midnight) it's the best sleeping a human can get. That's why I'm trying to get to sleep in that period ;)

I have tried every suggestion, OTC medication, and natural remedy I could possibly try. I was finally prescribed Ambien. It does work to put me to sleep, but I feel so draggy the next day, even when I get a full eight hours of sleep. This morning I spoke to my doctor and she switched me over to Lunesta to see if I respond better to that.

As far as if I don't take anything, I stay awake all night. Until the sun comes up. I just lay there and think. It sucks.

I sleep for 7 hours a day. On sundays, may be 8 hours. Depending on age, people should sleep between 7 to 9 hours a day.
