What is "Back Back"? And why would fun in anyway imply that a president was a good president?
Personally I thought the Reagan years (including the 4 of Bush Sr after Ronnie) were awful & petrifying. I was 8-20 during those two administrations; I think I was about 10 when I saw signs of mental deterioration in the President. Wondering if the "most powerful man in the world" had some sort of mental illness AND had control of 'the button' was pretty scary at that age. Was anyone really surprised when it was announced that he had alheizmers a few years later?
I think he's administration set into motion negative effects on our country that are still being felt today.
I think Jimmy Carter is often the butt of unfair jokes. He may not have had the charisma or the flair for the position, but he seemed (& seems) to be a honest & good person who's done much for the nation's poor. Perhaps with better advisers or at a different time in history, he could have been a much better leader.
But in answer to your original question, Bill Clinton without a doubt, imo was the best president in my lifetime. Our nation's budget was balanced and there was a SURPLUS of funds. Program's that helped people were being put into place. Our Constitution was not being poked apart & replaced by some Big Brother bs response to terrorism- that in fact does nothing to address terrorism but rather pacifies us into a false sense of safety.
