| |  Th Motorola E398 is a much more music-centric device.
The P900 is much more a smartphone/phone/PDA hybrid. Although it is capable of handling MP3, the speaker system is mono not stereo sound.
The E398 on the other hand was created with music in mind. It provides 3D stereo speakers and a dedicated MP3 player. MicroSD is the memory of choice and it really counts here as the P900 can only take memory stick duo, effectively capping the memory storage at 256Mb. The E398 on the other hand can take any size transflash with 1Gb currently available and 2Gb around the corner.
So if music is your thing, the Motorola E298 becomes your natural choice.
