Like that dirty old band t-shirt that he/she has had since high school?

His comic book and video collections. There are more than 1000 comics in our bedroom, some hanging up on walls all over the house. The video collection has taken over my office with 4 full bookcases of videos/DVD's, there are DVD's in the living room, and in our bedroom. It drives me crazy since that's a lot of space that could be used for other things.

It's so funny to read these sometimes because I know people that are just like that. My brother-in-law has a separate storage just for comic books. Last I heard he has about 100 plastic storage boxes just for comics! He keeps about 4 or 5 in his room at a time. He also loves DVD's. He burns a lot of them so they're just on the spindles but he still has about 100 or so in cases lying around. He's not married, or dating, so I guess that makes a little difference. Has he ever thought about selling some of his comic books? Some of those things can be worth a lot!

He sold a bunch of the original collection, but couldn't pass up the steal he got for the new set, so he bought them. I really wish he'd get his priorities straight. His most valuable comic is sitting in a closet waiting to be graded and come back worth up to $600. I'm ready to take it myself to get graded. He won't stop buying videos despite me telling him to.

Oh yes! My husband has this alarm clock that I swear is from the 70's. Okay maybe not that old but at least from the early 80's. He refuses to get rid of it. He says it was his very first alarm and it has never failed to wake him up. So he doesn't trust any other alarm clocks. But the thing is so big and bulky. He also has to use a nail to turn the alarm clock on because the switch is busted off. Maybe one of these days he will give in.

at least he uses it and it still works right? That's always a plus...but aren't cell phones used for alarm clocks these days? :)

My fiance owns a pair of speakers that I would really like him to sell. They have been taking up space in our bedroom for almost a year now just sitting there unhooked and unused. And before we moved here they just sat in the basement unused for 2 years. I'm just sick of them taking up space. But he doesn't want to get rid of them because he swears they are nice speakers that we will use one day.

You should let him know that with things like speakers they decrease in value as time goes on...because technology changes everyday! Hopefully you can convince him to at least check into seeing how much they would be worth! Good Luck :)
