Or would you choose to purchase something sporty and frivolous..and to *&^ with the environment...I am at this time trying to make up my mind about a new/used car ( pre-owned or whatever you wish to call it)...I have no need for my huge SUV now that my family is grown and gone and I am mainly in my car with just myself or my husband and I...I wonder about a hybrid and what the pros and cons are...but moreover for the sake of this conversation..I wonder what my myLot friends around the world would choose for themselves if they were in this situation...at this point in time my job is located about 15 miles away and mass transit doesn't work for me...so I am forced to drive..now what will I drive? A VW Bug? A car that runs on bio-diesel? A hybrid? What would you choose for yourself at this time ( if you were planning to make that decision)?

in your situation i would choose the more economical one, choose the one the saves more fuel. Being a parent a saved penny is a big deal. But of course get into consideration the comfort that the car will bring you.

Hi Rx4life, I would say drive something that your comfortable in. Personaly I wouldnt let the oil companies tell me what to drive, I couldnt posibly be comfortable in a car that could fit in the back of my pickup. I guess I just feel to insecure when I'm in the smallest box on the road. Just thought I would throw in my two cents sence you asked. Take care, Terry
