How do you celebrate your country's independance day? / myLot

Here in the States we have parades, throw Bar-b-ques, have picnics and watch fireworks. How do you celebrate your independance day?

Here we will have 7 days holiday in the National Day. And most of the time people like to have a travel during this holiday.

Here in the Philippines, we don't have work...and a parade is prepared for all government employees. Special presentation will follow. and that's all.

Usually we put Philippine flags on the doors of our houses here in the Philippines. Some government employees and private employees are also celebrating it but lots stayed in their houses to spent the holiday with their families. We don't have any parades or fireworks but i hope we have. Thanks
