 Have you ever been in a store where they have the ladies giving demos so you can try different products for sale? Well, this past weekend I was one of those demo ladies and I couldn't believe how rude some people are. I was offering to taste green and white tea. It was amazing to me how many people just ignored me when I asked them if they would like to try it. If they didn't want to taste it all they had to do is say 'no thanks'. Try to remember that these demo people are hired to give away so many samples. I found it very exhausting and I thought it would be a fun job.
So next time you see one of these demos going on, try the product~ you never know, you might like it:)

So now, I really choose witch one I want to try, and most of the time, I don't try any because I'M really not hungry
But at least, I said NO THANKS when they ask me to try something. I think it,s important not to ignore someone who is talking to you:)

| sunshine4 (6288) | 3 years ago | I am not a big sampler either, but I do respond to the person speaking to me. You would have been surprised at how many people looked right threw me or tried to not look at me when I asked if they would like to try a sample.
Many that did try it actually were surprised how good it tasted and many purchased which was good for me. | |

 jenius (117) | 3 years ago |  It isn't so much what they say as it is lack of common manners. People providing customer service in stores,restaurants etc...are human and should be treated as such not looked through or ignored.

I work in a store and I have lost count of how many times I have offered someone assistance for them to just walk away and not respond. A simple no thank you sure would be nice. I do sometimes pass on tyring some of the demos I come across mostly because I have dietary restrictions but I always make sure to acknowledge the demo person. On the other hand I have met some very wonderful,funny and friendly customers they make it all worth while.:) | |

I always acknowledge people that I don't even know. My kids are always asking me who I am talking to and I usually say that I don't know who it was. | |

I am sorry that you had to deal with such rude and uncaring people. I always go out of my way to say "No thank you."

Yeah i have seen so many ladies giving demos on products in so many stores.Now this become common to advertise their products by companies..right??Well i have same experience ..When we were giving demos of our store products in an exibition some people are so rude even they didnt give a reply and some are so cute they were listening to me interestingly.Even i wonder why some people behave rudely ..Might be they dont know how to behave/deal with others.But as for me i dont wanna remember that rude experience and i do remember good deals made by me ..it gives some energy and happiness to attend our next demo..good luck

7.  bonbon664 (2304) | 3 years ago |  Yes, people can be very rude. I think they're afraid of getting the hard sell, so, they don't even want to make eye contact. I don't sample usually because then I feel obligated to buy whatever it is I'm sampling, so, I simply say "No Thank You", and carry on.

I didn't think that I would have enough for that amount of time, but so many people didn't want to try that it ended up being almost just right. It is a very tiring job, standing on the hard floor all day. | |

| 10. sharonercastillo (668) | 3 years ago |  we call them promo girl here, and yes, im nice to them, i try what they are offering, i even talk to some, asking about their products, except of course if im not really interested, i just smile and say thank you. even to those who give flyers at the entrance of the mall, i always get what they're giving, my helper joke me one time, that everytime we go to mall, before we go home, my bag will be full of papers
