Are you an underdog or a favorite? |
|
As human being, different people have different life. No matter in our studies or works, there're always those who succeed or achieve the expectations of others easily and others are proud of them. While some others play the role of failers on most occasions. Now just wondering that in real life, are you an underdog or a favorite? Do you wanna change it? How will you do? Or you're playing the different part of different aspects. Which part are you playing as an underdog? Which one as a favorite? Share you opinions please. Thanks in advance.:)

2. raijin (6735) | 1 year ago | I always treat myself as an underdog, because I do not want people to expect much on me. For me, I do what I can and live the way that I want my life to be. There are countless times that I can say have reached the top, but I always keep my feet down on the ground and not let RAW emotions rule over me. I thank them when they cheer for me, to let them know that I'll always be what I was and the true me that they've known from the start. An achiever, who always holds his head up high with pride..

3. williamjisir (9501) | 1 year ago | In real life and work, I think that I am just average or maybe above, compared with the majority. I have a nice job and my boss treats me well and values me a great deal. Of course, to the greatest extent, it is because of my good working performance that works a lot to win the respect and appreciation from my boss. Therefore, I think that it is your choice to be an underdog or a favorite. As you see, attitude speaks, for a hardworking and effective staff is always appreciated. Thanks for your topic.

5. charms88 (4698) | 1 year ago | I'm neither of the two, mexshyl. I don't perceive my life that way. I do things quietly and avoid clamoring for other people's expectations. I won' be a happy bunny if I continue to do things just because I like to see the face of approval from the people around me. I would rather people accept me as their equal in all aspects of life.

6. maddysmommy (10381) | 1 year ago | I think I am an underdog and my husband is the favorite. When i complete things it is unexpected to my family but when my husband completes things, it's expected of him and they know he is able to do it regardless. I know that sounds silly but I prefer to be the underdog and surprise others LOL makes it all the more challenging and fun too!

7. AmbiePam (10722) | 1 year ago | I admit that I am an underdog. My life didn't start out that way. I wasn't a favorite, but the playing field was even. Recent events have changed that and my new position is clear. However, I don't use that term to justify any whining. Underdogs have to be scrappy, and learn to adapt, which I seem to be doing OK.

9. BeachLover (274) | 1 year ago | Good discussion. First of thanks for it. I am not exact underdog or very famous. For me success is satisfaction from what I do and say. You can't win every time and it's very important to learn and always to learn from you defeats. I love to learn. Every defeat is a chance to improve myself more and more and one step closer to perfection. I see many people here at my work place, those who are favorite. But, it is very important amongst, which group they are favorite. Being famous among mediocre is of no use and being favorite by few intelligent people is much better than this type of favoritism. My favorite is one of my friend. I saw him coming up from nothing. With power of knowledge and expertise, he conquered all odds and problems. His attitude inspires me to be more positive and motivated towards life and it's problems.

10. Sherry12 (1845) | 1 year ago | Well, today I feel like an underdog. I've stayed at home and been a wife and mother, and now that my kids are grown I feel kind of useless. I've been out of the work force for so long, that if I got a job it would be for minimum wage, so I've been trying to find something on here I can do. My husband has a good job, so I don't really have to work. But, I'd like to be able to say I'm doing something that is useful and be able to contribute something to our income.
