Is anyone still using old time home movie equipment?????

I would love to know if anyone on MyLot still uses the old type of equipment to make home movies.I think that these old cameras and projectors are so cool. Very arty and all that sort of thing.So if you had one or two cameras and/or projectors that perhaps belonged to your Dad or Granddad, would you just let it lie around gathering dust? or throw it out,give it away,or will you use them, checking out their possible potentialities?Give it a go and let me know.
