4th of July Birthday Cake

My husband's birthday is July 4th and we celebrated yesterday of course and I bought a birthday cake. It was so good. The frosting was as rich and it usually is to me. Which is bad in a sense because I end up eating a lot of it. Late last night as I was getting up to go to bed I saw the cake and I had at have another piece. How bad is that. I'm sure it did great things to my thighs but it was so good late at night right before bed. I couldn't stop eating it. I refuse to have some today though. I know if I eat some today I'll probably eat the whole thing. I'm bad.

Happy birthday to your hubby! And belated happy 4th of July to you both! I am a cake monster too, and I absolutely love butter icing, You are not bad, my friend, only human. Like the rest of us. Enjoy the rest of your cake and think of me as chomping away with you in spirit! My favourite cake is pound cake. I also like Black Forest, Lemon Poppyseed, Pineapple Upside Down....actually I have never met a cake I didn't like! :-D
