There are a few good reasons to let your tropical fishes have a vacation in your outdoors pond. One is that they will get better color and they will grow faster (as long as there is plenty of room and they are fed right. They are likely to breed in ponds if the conditions are right for them. So how many people put their fish in a pond for the summer?

I put my tropical fish in my outdoor pond. My weather is very mild year round, so rarely does the temperature get to low for the fish three seasons of the year. The fish grow a lot faster and have a lot more room.
