Television or Radio. Choose and why?

A picture is worth 500 words. That is the great advantage of television. They show the events through newsphotographs and with little commentary. Radio also covers news but it cannot be so much interesting as TV. Similarly the song sequences and music can be seen better on tv than hearing. Only disadvantage is watching TV continuously would affect the eyes and health too. Hence whenever possible, if a house wife is working in kitchen, she can put on radio and listen to nice songs and still carry on her work.

I would choose TV, you can listen and watch music video, watch films and shows and do karaoke with it. but when I am in the farm... I would want the radio, it keeps me company while doing things.

i agree with you both are equally important and they have their value of their own.like in india where there is small villages where there is no electricity radio is must as radio is the only source of entertainment.meanwhile television has also his own importance like we can watch and see movies,beautiful girls,sports and news here.

i prefer tv. i seldom listen to radio that much nowadays because i can get new songs from the net and also from the tv via music video channels. whenever i want to listen to music i just use my pda or open the computer. ^__^;; i could live without a radio but i couldn't live without a tv. where will i watch my favorite shows?? i can't watch them all in the internet since not all of them are available there. for me, tv is the best form of entertainment in the whole wide world. ^__^

I prefer the radio. When I listen to the radio, I can do other things also. Like clean, cook, dance, shower, entertain company, and hang out on the internet. But, when you watch television, what else can you do, but sit there and listen and watch.

I think I would like to choose television rather than radio. It is already long time ago since I listen to the radio, but television I think is a must. I would be very lonely without television. :)

I would choose television over radio. Television nowadays is so much worth and visual power has an enormous power. However, i feel nostalgic about radio and whenever I listen to it I remember our good old days of togetherhood. Here I would like share one thing, grecy. I have found that our power of listening is deteriorating for we are getting so much dependent on visuals and many a times we kind of lip read and this perhaps is bad for our health as well. Thanks.

i would rather choose television, cause simply because in television you can watch the actions, or what they have been talking in the radio..It is audio and video in one.
