Did you hear about the 10 & 12 year old sisters that kidnapped their one year old neighbor and left a ransom note? They wanted something like $200,000 to give the poor little boy back. They took him at 5:30am while their mother and the boy's mother slept. The older sister confessed (told mom that it was the little sister's idea) and the boy is now back with the mother. What do think is the appropriate punishment for these two girls?

I didn't hear about this and I can't imagine the horror that the mom went through. I really don't know what should be done to kids this age who commit those kinds of crimes. I would say that they are a threat to society and should be given treatment as well as punishment.
