She is going to Big Girl School on Monday, I am not Ready... |
| |
| My little lady, is starting daycare on Monday. this will be the very first time that one of my children will not be in the care of family. I know that it is a great daycare and she will be just fine. I went there with her this morning to drop off some paper work and she wanted to just get right in there and start school. My question is, how to i get as ready as she is? How do i let go of my two year old muffin without losing my mind? LOL | | | | | |

| | It's hard to let go of our babies and you'll probably cry. Make sure if you cry she doesn't see you and carry some tissue. It get much easier once you see how much she enjoys day care. | | | | | | |

| | It's always hard to take a child to some "unknown." I know I cried taking my son to daycare, and when we switched daycares. I cried when he started preschool, kindergarten, and when we moved, at his 2nd first day of kindergarten. Silly, huh? Now, don't fret. Just know that what you are feeling is natural, and you are going to cry. Just relax and take a deep breath. Kiss her, then run! Well, don't run, but, you know what I mean. (((((((((HUGS)))))))) You'll make it!!! | | | | | | |

| | Thanks for the BR!!! How did your daughter's first day go? How did your first day go? I think the worst part for me when my kids left for school was the quiet. I like quiet, but it was just TOO quiet. Now, I am counting down...5 1/2 weeks until school starts again. LOL! | | | |

| | You absorb yourself in the pleasures that she is going to have and looking forward to. You will alwasy miss and worry about them. But this is part of her becoming a BIG girl and something she is cherishing very much. You do the same right along with her. And think of all the things you can share together when she comes home. New experiences again. | | | | | | |

| | i know. i am excited for her. she is going to love it. and that is what keeps me keeping on. i know this is going to really help her to develop even more of her own little personality and i am looking forward to that smiling face and all the wonderful things she is going to learn. i am still sad that she is growing up and i am stuck at work missing it. but i know she will understand that momma is doing this for our family | | | |

| | Letting go is one of the hardest things us Mammas have to do and I cried on my boy's first day at nursery..Then I cried again after my divorce when at ten he said he wanted to stay with Daddy because Daddy had the houe and his room, whereby I was homeless and kipping at a friend's house. I have let go and cried many times. I was abused..and then punished on top for the abuse. Well life has to change someday. At least I get to see him once a week and I am still friendly with his Dad so things can be worse can't they? I count my blessings that we are all fairly healthy. That puts everything into perspective. | | | | | | |

| | Awwww momma, I lknow it's hard! But the fact that she wants to get right in there and start school is a GREAT sign. She should have no trouble adjusting! Kids want to be around other kids their age so she'll have so much fun! As for you, just buy some stock in Kleenex and you'll be fine too! | | | | | | |
