Do you think this "Live Earth" concert will do any good?

There's this massive concert today all over the world to get people aware of global warming. What a massive waste of time in my opinion. Here's an issue we all know about. So, can you imagine the energy it will take to put these concerts on? A bunch of ridiculous payed singers flying all over the world to probmote the global warming issue. It will be venues full of garbage tomorrow, afer using huge amounts of energy just to power the instruments. Seems crazy to me.

Is rather ironic isn't it "lets cause more damage so we can try to fix the problem".
Personally I don't think this will help at all - it's up to each individual to do their part and concerts are not going to fix this problem.
