Hello Americans! I'm just so curious...What do you celebrate on 4th of July?what do you usually do? In the Philippines, 4th of July is known as the Philippine-American friendship Day. It used to be a holiday here until around 1990s (?)

I usually go to the fireworks mainly to see if there's people I know so I can meet up with them. It does become unpredictable on that since most of my friends are off in other areas.
That's intersting to say the least about the day. I did not know that at all. I wonder why that was cancelled exactly for you guys.
