Father in law update

I didn't get a chance to go see dad yet because yesterday and today hubby got off work too late to make it up there before visiting hours were over. But I talked to mom last night and dad is finally out of ICU and in a private room. He ate a lot more yesterday than before, but he kinda did himself in with what he picked out. He asked for spaghetti, and salad with tomatoes and he had eaten his dinner before the new shift nurse had come in to look at the chart. Between the spaghetti sauce and the tomatoes, the silly goof ended up with a whopper of a case of heartburn. Of course mom gave him an earful about it, but since he's back to his stubborn smartalecky self, he didn't listen to her. He's griping about wanting to go home, and now the cigarette fits have started as well. Thankfully he's on the third floor so he can't cheat and crawl out the window! LOL. There's a possibility that he might come home Monday, but we don't know for sure. As soon as I find out I will let you all know. Thanks once again for the prayers and support.
