Al Gore is our only hope against global warming!

I love Al Gore for all he is doing to save the wolrd from global warming. He is a very different kind of American politician-he looks futuristically about the the earth, if wehad 10 Al Gores well distributed in the world, our world would not be this hot-climate change woes would be a thing of the past. We all need to rise up in support of Gore. Americans should make him their president again!

Hi there. Personally speaking, I dont think Al Gore is our only hope against global warming. We hold our own hope against global warming with the choices we make... Actions and big ideas for all these industries, gas pollution, cutting of trees and greenery, man made pollution, most of all greed and the way we have chosen to live life, has all contributed to global warming in my opinion... Without people, there would be no Al Gore at all, he would be a simple commoner... And thats not to undermine what he has done and contributed for the goodness of all...

I agree entirely Nardz13, my sentiments smack of defeatism-there are these guys whose views of the world are lost in greed and mindless comsumerism, they are the ones who have knowlege and power but they are intransigent, they are choosing to look away from the undoubtedly dangerous situation of global warming, we as commoners as you say, could put our acts together, but the powers that be who make the policies will not translate our acts into a formidable fight against global warning, am trying to say, Gore who has been in the corridors of power, could he change anything in the heads of these big and powerful men and women of this world who are unconcerned about the man-made conditions for global warming?
