One of the best books to date

I have to admit, I absolutely hated Pride and Prejudice the first four times I tried to read it. I couldn't even get through it, and I feel comfortable calling myself a literate person. But, three years later, and after graduating high school, I've come to absolutely love it. It is now one of my favorite books. I think that I was trying to read it too academically the first few times, and didn't appreciate the actual story, because, when you get down to it, Pride and Prejudice is a love story.

You are quite right that this book is really an excellant one,I quite agree with you.And it is certainly one of my favorites that I've read it again and again for at least 5 or 6 times.As a learner of English,I just find the English language is used to such a good extend that a read can not help admiring it more and more.Personalities of the characters are so vivid that you will like many of them as soon as you know more about them.

Regarding the main character Darcy and Elizabeth,it's the first proposal from Darcy that impressed me most.What a admiring personality and language it shows!And then except for the main characters,I like Mr and Mrs Bennet,the parents very much.Especially the mother.Just see what a snob she is and anyone will not help laughing at her foolishness,which is so ironic at the same time.
