How do you download video into an ipod?

I'm confused and want to download some videos from a CD into an iPod video how do I do that? what do I need?

CD? a VCD? You can get a VCD ripper and convert it to an MPEG file first. Software is available for that called VCD Gear. You can then convert the MPEG to the format your iPod uses (usually Quicktime) then put it in your iPod.
