Do you agree or disagree south park is an inappropriate show?

i used to watch it when it first came out... and mind you, i'm very open-minded, but i had to give it up. it just got to be too too much. so i'm gonna have to agree with you on this one.

Cartoons when they first came out were not for kids but for adults, it ended up that way. Some of the first Popeye cartoons, when Popeye mumbles, you could hear very clearly, curse words.

Secondly, I do agree it is not appropriate for children by no means. However if to the adult's likey, it is fine for adults.

I got to say i find soutpark funny as fck and think its a great cartoon. However i do agree it sure aint a cartoon for kids and i beggers belief that in my country they are broadcast at 6pm, prime time for kids watching tv. Same goes for for simpsons, which i love to bits, he is my idol, wish i could be as him, lol

Just because a program is animated it does not mean it is for children. In fact, in the USA and other places we have a ratings system which tells viewers what age groups programs are appropriate for. South Park is rated MA for MATURE ADIENCES ONLY it is NOT intended for children.
Anyone who lets their young children watch despite the warnings at the beginning of every show is a moron.
I have laughed my butt off watching this show, but I am not easily offended. However, some stuff was in poor taste even by MY standards. It doesn't mean the show needs to be boycotted or banned or anything - it just means that if you don't like it, DON'T watch it!
It's just a TV show, and nobody is forcing anyone to watch it.
So I have to disagree with you on this. Yes, South Park is kind of raunchy sometimes, but it was never intended to be veiwed by children. It's not like they are airing it at the same time or on the same channel as Spongebob Squarepants or anything.
