The concept of the MATRIX is fascinating and complex and will no doubt be the topic of many a philosophical debate for many decades to come.

I also watched the second and third.^_^ The concept of the Matrix is really amazing. It is very philosophical. It actually helped me on my term paper in philosophy ahehehe. I love the concept of the movie. When you watch the Animatrix, there you'll understand better how the computers were able to gain power over the humans and some principles and philosophies in life that we can also apply in ourselves. Ahehe.. Love the movie! One of my all-time faves..^_^

For me it has a far deeper meaning.
The Matrix is the universal mind of God, in which we all exist, as both a part of that mind and as individual entities.
We have the power within us to actually change the very fabric of space and time, pretty much in the same way that those who where strong enough could influence the happenings inside the Matrix. Neo was the one who had the strongest will power and so he was regarded as the "messiah".
So I guess I'd have to say that the Matrix is all about a Universal truth, but hidden behind a sci-fi movie | |

i think its indicating the relation between human and the name of god. some place in "Veda" describe it briefly...
and the director of this picture inspired from "Veda" .
