Scrapbooking?  

Hey jolenegreen~! Well I scrap too but most of the time I digi-scrap since I haven't really got time to do it the good old manual way.. :P I know what you mean by wanting to but not really wanting to. lol. Maybe what you can do is go through the galleries of scrapbookers on those scrapping websites. I don't know about you but it works for me. Whenever I see how beautiful they scrap, I tend to get inspired and really motivated to do mine. :) Well, hope you get your groover back. Happy scrapping~!

I am the same exact way. We just moved into our new place a few months ago and my scrapbooking stuff is still packed away. What I just did recently was go unpack it and set it in a place where I have to pass by it every 10 minutes or so (it is sitting by the front door). And seeing it is my constant reminder, it reminded me to start taking more pics, to get my other pics organized and printed to get started. When I am out and about I make sure to check out the scrapbooking isles or stores. Then actually two days ago I layed out pics I want to work on and did a few pg layouts. Thats really all I coud do having three boys running loose. but it is better than doing nothing before. Maybe doing a pg a day could catch you up.

Start carrying your camera with you everywhere you go. I forgot mine yesterday and missed some great photo ops! :( If they are digital photos, put them on the computer with a description of the moment as the "title" or "name of the photo" to help you remember. You can do the same on the back of the photos if you print them out or taken them somewhere to be developed.

I Love to scarp & find myself out of the groove right now I am scrapping Feb 06 just a little behind I have three children & I do a bok for each of them ( i haven't started my sond until I catch up) My suggestion is to write first journal a little to refresh the memories, start taking pics again, use your wall calendar to mark funny stories, events, etc to be ready for when you catch up & then organize what you have if you are not organozed you will hate scrapping

Go on a vacation and take lots of pictures- and then put them in scrapbooks- a great way to remember the good times- Our when you go camping- take pics of fishing and swimming and stuff and make a scrapbook card or something like that to send to grandparents- showing the fun- I scrapbook but not a lot- My daughter and my mom love to do it- Mom makes cards and such-

I scrapbook, well sort of! I can't seem to get anything done at home. Although I just cleaned of my desk so now I have no excuses. Usually I don't do anything until my friend and I go somewhere to scrapbook. I do get things done when we do that. But we only go every few months. Now we haven't been scrapbooking since April. We really need to go again, but life seems to be taking over.

you could just take new pictures of your kids but not normal pictures. stolen shots. like when their sleeping, thumb-sucking (if they still do this), while their eating and they look so messy... ^__^;; those funny pictures.

my latest collections for my scrapbook are the brand tags of anything that i've bought like shirts, pants, socks or anything that has a cute tag. ^__^

well, you could scrap about your home! I took before and after pictures of my new home, and stuck them in a book, but haven't gotten to really scrap them yet. but perhaps you have beeter things to scrap about, like the two cute kids in your avatar!

well, check out these sites, i always find looking at gorgeous layouts inspiring. instead of scraplifting direct, i try to challenge myself to combine two designs and to use the materials i currently have.
