Eating 6 meals a day keeps the fat away! email this discussion to a friend?

I have discovered that eating 6 meals a day and doing regular running and lifting weights has caused me to lose weight. I love it. I hardly eat bread too. I just hope I can spread good advice. I eat 6 extra small meals. They have to be so small that I have to eat out of kids bowls and plates. I also drink gallons of water and take lots of B vitamins. Anywho just wondering who else does this?

When I was ill with depression I consulted a nutritional therapist. She prescribed 5 smaller meals per day. I noticed when I followed her regime combined with exercise that I lost some weight.

I dont believe in dieting anymore and unfortunately the regime she advised me to keep to I ended up rebelling against it and then stopped visting her.

I discovered a book recently called Beyond Chocolate. It is not a new approach but is about eating only when hungry and listening to our bodies. I like you do take vitamins and drink plenty of water every day. I do not obsess any more about what I eat though. I dont ever want to diet again and I believe that by finding what works for me best I will lose weight gradually.

Drinking lots of water is always help when you want to lose your weight. But I did different step than you to do my diets.

I'm now in the healthy food program, I try to eat as much as possible fruits and vegetables, try to use organic food as much as I can and try to avoid junk food. And for my dinner I try to eat before 8 o'clock in the night, and drink green tea before I sleep. In a day, of course I consume a lot of waters as well, since its really help me to lose my weight.

So far,I did manage losing 6 kg in 2 months. Not really that much but also not that bad.
