I want to have a candle light dinner for my hubby. any ideas?

we have been through a hard time the past six months and there was practically no timd for anything special. i need ideas for the food, kind of music etc. its too long to wait for his birthday. he really deserves a special evening. he was the rock and stood strong.

That's such a romantic idea! I would go with music that have meaning for the two of you, maybe something you heard on your first date, or music that was played at your wedding. Personally I would stay away from real sappy love songs, but if you and your man are into it, then go for it!
As for the food, I would make something that I know he will like. Does he have a favourite dish, or does he like a certain type of cuisine? Maybe you can make a variation of that. For dessert, either go for something light like a lemon merangue (sp?) pie, or for a small slice of dark chocolate cake.

The food is a real problem. he has no favourites. if i think i treat him, he will think its average. i need a different idea. something foreign.
