What do you think about the digitally remasterd original series?

I learned at startrek.com that they released a digitally remastered original series.
They actually replaced the antiquated low budget effects of the series with computer generated imagery. I think it's cool! What do you guys think?

i'll have to go check it out-i hadn't heard they were doing this.
i'm kind of a stickler for leaving something original myself..
but you never know,them cleaning up the original star wars improved it,it may do the same for star trek.

exactly. and now it seems the 11th movie will be about a time when kirk and spock were very young, a prequel just as what happened with star wars. I fhistory really repeats itself then the 11th movie is bound to be successful, dont'ya think?
