What is the best buy you've ever gotten at a Dollar Store?

I just love the dollar store. We have one here called Dollarama and it's just the best thing since sliced bread. I have gotten soooo many great deals there, and I am not just talking about regular one dollar items either. On many mnay occasions I have been able to buy BRAND NAME bath and beauty products at Dollarama. Just yesterday I went there and found Biore face wash and face masque. I bought 3 tubes of face wash and one tube of masque at $1 each. Then I went to Sobeys to get my groceries and decided to take a wlk down the self-care product isle and see what I would have paid for those same prodcuts there. Can you believe $11.99+tax for each tube. I was so impressed by the savings that I now regreat not picking up more, and I will if there is any left when I get there next. A few other things that I have gotten at this same dollar store in the past are: Jergens Body Lotion, John Freida hair care products, Atmosphere bath products, and Pantene ProV Shampoo. Do other people here on Mylot love the Dollar Stores as much as I do? What are some of the best deals that you have gotten at a Dollar Store recently?

I love Dollar Stores. My favorite dollar store is Dollar Tree. Although, where I live we have a dollar food store. Some of the items I would never dream of buying, but many of the breads, milk, and snacks are drop shipped from outside companies, like the same ones that service the local supermarkets, so that is pretty neat. Although the portion sizes are usually a little bit smaller.
The best deal that I think I ever found at a dollar store was St. Ives lotion and it wasn't those little hand size ones either. They were pretty big ones with pumps. The only problem was that we were on vacation and I was in Idaho and I am orginally from NY. I need lotition though. I have to apply it to all of my skin after taking a shower and that can get really expensive. I actually bought ten bottles and just wrapped them in plastic bags (lol, hoping they wouldn't dump) and packed them in my luggage.

I use body lotion after every shower and bath too. The best body lotion that I have ever gotten at Dollarama was Jergens Skin Firming lotion. I only bought 5 of them and gave away 3 as Christmas gifts because I already had a bottle of lotion open. I wish I would ahve bought more because I didn't realize what a nice product it is until I finally tried it which was long after Dollaram ran out.

I was so excited when I got some Banana Boat sunless tanner. I normally spend $10 on a bottle and I got it for $1.
I also got my son a step stool for the bathroom. I looked at them at Wal-mart for over $10.
I love shopping at the dollar stores!

Those are awsome deals!!! I have been back to Dollarama 2 times since I started this discussion stocking up. I now have 7 tubes of face wash and 2 tubes of face mask packed away for use in the future. I spent a total of $9 (not includeing tax) and still haven't spent what it would cost to buy one of these at Walmart. I won't need face wash for like a year!!!:)

My favorite purchases at the dollar store are those raw hide chews for my dog. If you buy them from a regular store, you're looking at quite abit of money to chell out. They have great deals at the dollar store for just $1! My dog goes through them so fast I refuse to buy them any more expensive! any other great itme to get are gift bags. They have a great selection especially since you use them once to pass on a gift and they're gone.
