When I die, I'm donating my whole body to science, most likely a medical school. It'll be a cadaver for medical students to practice on.

Thanks. I just don't want to waste a body or take up space in the ground.

hello dbhattji,
sometimes i think from where do such ideas creep in your mind and you post them.its such a noble idea i can't define it.donating something in the interest of others best describes the meaning of spirituality in itself.
and what you said is partially true.i would disagree to some point.i don't think that any of us are poor here.especially when we have such a great heart to feel for others.isn't it?poor in my opinion are those who don't have those blessings of others.these blessings are the richest thing that any man could possess.
i would definitely want to be rich and i would definitely do something for a noble cause.be it donating my eyes or kidneys or heart or any other things.atleast in that way i will live on this earth for some more time.

There is a story by a famous author - a poor man was begging saying God had not given him anything - another man asked him to sell his one eye for a million rupees but the beggar refused, then he was asked to sell his heart for 5 million rupees, he refused and so on - later he realized that God had given him millions of rupees worth body and all he had done in his life was to cry and blame Him. So we are all rich from the gifts God has given us.

yes definitely dbhattji.what you said is absolutely right.well i didn't know about this and thanks for sharing the story with me.i really learnt a lot from you.
we were never poor.but people judge it only by looking at the money anybody possess not the precious things that we possess as god's gift to us.
and thanks again for the best response dbhattji.

That is the most noble thing to do. I will donate parts too if one day I'll be gone in this world. I would be very happy to know that somehow, somewhere out there, I will be able to help someone who is in need. ;)
