Credit card companies are really just slave makers and owners. We are fortunate and not encouraged to pay off our balances. They look out for their interests when we get into trouble. Best is to have a low level card with a limit you can easily live with. They are best when they are the kind you put money on and use it that way. You are in charge and only spend your money you have already made. Not working from the hole you have dug called debt.
