having an encurrable disease? I have had Diabetes for 22 years if not longer and It has limited my work habits and everyday life and the other day I asked the doctor if I was ever going to be the same. He then told me that the disease was not cureable. I would have thought that he would have told me this 22 years ago so I may have planned for the out come from this disease. So I have now filed for disablity as I have been on and off from work for 22 years and have lost 4 really good jobs because of diabetes. I have decided that working 1 week out of 4 in a month is not paying the bills or buying food any way in so I am now testing the fact that welfare and social socurty is a better life. I for one have never had to use these services at all in the past but find myself in need of them. Hugs
